Khalilzad Holds Talks in Abu Dhabi Over Afghan Peace – Tolo News

Abu Dhabi quartet discusses efforts to restore peace and security in Afghanistan.

Representatives of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, United States and Afghanistan, met in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday to discuss efforts to restore security and stability as part of international endeavours to push forward the peace process in the south-central Asian country, according to an Emirates News Agency report.

The meeting ended with a set of recommendations that will contribute to realizing inclusive national reconciliation in Afghanistan.

The US Special Envoy for Peace in Afghanistan, Zalmay Khalilzad, expressed satisfaction over the outcome of the meeting.
